1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AnimePulse (the "Platform"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference.

If you are using AnimePulse on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and references to "you" include both you and the organisation.

Age requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use AnimePulse. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. Users under 13 are not permitted to use the platform, and we will delete accounts of underage users upon discovery.

2. License to Use

AnimePulse grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

This license does not include the right to:

Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or resell any portion of the Platform or its content

Use the Platform or its content for commercial purposes without our express written consent

Scrape, crawl, or use automated systems (bots, spiders, scrapers) to access any part of the Platform

Download or mirror the Platform's content in bulk or systematically

Frame or embed AnimePulse content in another website without permission

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Platform

3. User Accounts

Creating an account on AnimePulse is optional for browsing content. An account is required to access features such as your watchlist, subscription benefits, and personalised notifications.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at legal@animepulse.online if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You may not create accounts using automated means, use false identities, or create accounts for the purpose of violating these Terms. AnimePulse reserves the right to verify accounts and refuse service to any person for any reason.

4. Content, Copyright & AI Disclosure

Original content: All original text, graphics, logos, and code created by AnimePulse is our intellectual property, protected by copyright law. You may share links to our content but may not reproduce it without attribution and written permission.

Third-party content: AnimePulse aggregates news from third-party sources including Anime News Network, Crunchyroll, MyAnimeList, and others. We use these sources in compliance with their respective terms and RSS feed permissions. We credit all sources and do not claim ownership of third-party content.

Anime images: Anime artwork, character images, and promotional materials displayed on AnimePulse are the property of their respective studios and publishers. These are used for informational and editorial purposes only. We respect the intellectual property rights of all anime creators.

AI-generated content: AnimePulse uses an AI editorial assistant ("Kai") to produce some articles on this platform. All AI-generated articles are clearly labelled as "AI-Assisted." By using AnimePulse, you acknowledge and accept that some content is produced using artificial intelligence tools. This disclosure is provided in compliance with applicable AI transparency regulations.

5. Affiliate Links & Monetisation

AnimePulse participates in affiliate programmes including Amazon Associates and the Crunchyroll Affiliate Programme. Some links on the Platform are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase.

Affiliate links are disclosed in our About Us page. These commissions do not affect the price you pay, and they do not influence our editorial content, rankings, or recommendations. AnimePulse maintains full editorial independence from all affiliate and sponsorship relationships.

Any sponsored content or paid partnerships will be clearly labelled as "Sponsored" on the page. Advertising displayed on AnimePulse (via Google AdSense or similar) is governed by the respective advertising platform's policies.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following when using AnimePulse:

Posting or transmitting harmful, offensive, defamatory, or illegal content

Attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account

Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the Platform

Impersonating any person, entity, or AnimePulse staff

Using the Platform to distribute spam, malware, or phishing content

Circumventing any rate limits, access controls, or security measures

Uploading or transmitting viruses or any other malicious code

Using the Platform in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

AnimePulse is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that: (a) the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure; (b) the content is accurate, complete, or up to date; or (c) defects will be corrected. Content on AnimePulse — including AI-generated content — is provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole source of truth.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AnimePulse and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed USD $50 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to AnimePulse at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is detrimental to the Platform. You may also delete your account at any time via your profile settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable international law. For users in the European Union, your statutory consumer rights under EU law are not affected by these Terms. We encourage resolving disputes amicably by contacting us first at legal@animepulse.online before pursuing formal legal action.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify registered users via email. Continued use of AnimePulse after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you should stop using the Platform and may request account deletion.
